How I Can Help

Feeling Disconnected From Yourself

You look functional on the outside, but internally feel numb, detached, lost, or unlike yourself. Life may feel repetitive, flat, or unreal, even when things “should” be okay.

Anxiety, Overthinking & Pressure

Constant thinking. Constant pressure. Always trying to improve, manage, optimise, or keep everything together while quietly feeling overwhelmed underneath it all.

Relationships & Authenticity

People-pleasing, conflict avoidance, attachment struggles, difficulty expressing needs, or feeling unable to fully be yourself around others.

Meaning, Purpose & Identity

Questions around direction, identity, masculinity, purpose, ageing, change, freedom, or what it actually means to live a meaningful life.

Addiction, Compulsion & Self-Destructive Patterns

Patterns that temporarily soothe, distract, or numb difficult feelings but ultimately leave you feeling trapped, disconnected, or frustrated with yourself.

Feeling More Alive

Therapy is not about becoming perfect.

I believe many people spend years surviving rather than truly living.

Over time, it’s easy to lose touch with spontaneity, authenticity, joy, meaning, excitement, and genuine connection. People become trapped in routines, anxiety, people-pleasing, overthinking, emotional shutdown, or lives that look functional from the outside but feel empty underneath.

Therapy, to me, is not about becoming a flawless version of yourself.

It’s about becoming more connected to who you actually are, making changes that matter to you, and learning to show up more fully in your life, relationships, choices, and experiences.

Life can be painful, uncertain, and complicated, but I also believe it should contain vitality, connection, curiosity, humour, depth, and moments of genuine aliveness.

A bit about my approach

My work is relational, direct, and grounded in real conversation.

I’m interested in who you are beneath the roles, coping strategies, and expectations you’ve had to carry. Together, we explore what gets in the way of feeling fully alive and what happens when there is finally space to slow down, become more aware, and speak honestly.

I draw from existential, Gestalt, relational, and Jungian approaches, but therapy with me is never rigid or formulaic. I don’t follow scripts or force conversations into a structure that doesn’t fit you.

David, has changed my life by teaching me how to look at things that have been conditioned in my brain for many years in a different way.
