We are Being in it Together, a counselling/psychotherapy partnership between Jacqui Vickery MNCPS Acc./MBACP and David Edwards MNCPS Acc./MBACP. We have created a place where people who are looking for help, change and support can come and easily access high quality, effective and thoughtful therapy.
We work with individuals, couples and groups online and in person. You can find out more about who we are, what we do and how and why we do it throughout our website.
We designed and built this site ourselves and every word written on it was by the hand of either Jacqui or David – no AI. Our site is like our therapy – deeply human. Hello, I’m David. I’m trained to help people make the changes they want to become who they are.
Hello fellow travellers, my name is Jacqui.
I want this to reach people who are travelling through life feeling lost and alone. People who are sick and tired of their same old story that no longer serves them. People who keep trying to convince themselves that if they just erase the old story, or write a different one with new characters, then hopefully the old story will fade away. But instead, those old, rickety pages are far too comfortable and familiar, and before you know it you find yourself travelling through them again, heading toward the same ending.
Do you feel ready to open yourself to a new perspective, a new chapter, a different story? I’m sure by now you have wasted enough precious time. So, let’s not waste anymore.
I am willing to meet you as you are and stand with you through this journey. I too, have travelled through these pages. I know it’s messy and beautiful, difficult and life changing.
I offer you a space to be seen. A space to let go of your old stories, to lay down your armour and forge a new way, to create a new story with a different beginning, middle and end. One that you actually choose for yourself, that is bright, meaningful and real. You’d happily relive it over and over again.
